Access to Elysian Luxury Eco Island Retreat is via 10 minute helicopter journey from either Hamilton Island or Coral Sea Marina located in Airlie Beach. Enjoy a private flight over the picturesque Whitsunday Islands or Conway National Park. Boat transfers are 30 minutes from Shute Harbour and approximately 45 minutes from Hamilton Island. Boat transfers from Hamilton Island are done through a third party operator with severe tidal restrictions. If you would like to travel via boat to Elysian we have greater flexibility to bring you over on our own vessel from Shute Harbour. We strongly urge all guests to obtain travellers insurance for your stay with us. Elysian Retreat will not be held liable or offer a refund for travel disruptions due weather or other unprecedented events impacting your ability to meet your booking.

We sincerely regret to inform you that Elysian Retreat is not equipped to accommodate guests with wheelchairs. This is primarily due to the unanticipated nature of a potential helicopter evacuation and our environmental constraints preventing the construction of a jetty or wharf. We deeply apologise for any inconvenience this may pose to individuals with mobility requirements.
